In actual fishing, it can be used for both spey casting and overhead casting by using silk line.

I used it in the Kuzuryu River in the second half of the season in May for surface fishing in low water.

This rod is often used for dry fly fishing for rainbow trout in lakes as the cherry trout season is limited.
